Synoptek Scoops Up Macquarium As Firm Focuses On Customer Experience, Outcomes

MSP giant Synoptek is stepping up its focus on customer success by way of acquiring Macquarium, a longtime customer experience agency, the companies announced Thursday.

Irvine, Calif.-based Synoptek will pair its track record of helping businesses move through IT transformations successfully with Macquarium’s business consulting and development services, Synoptek said in a statement on the deal.

The two companies have not released financial details of the transaction.

Synoptek, an MSP with a global presence, has a team of more than 1,000 on-staff. Macquarium’s brand will continue under the Synoptek portfolio, according to the two companies.

Atlanta-based Macquarium, for its part, has been providing digital customer experience services, such as engagement, conversion and retention, to customers since 1991. The company counts many large enterprise and high-profile companies, such as MGM, Equifax, UPS, and Wells Fargo, as customers.
