Ukon Unveils Cyber Insurance Marketplace, Founders Program

‘FifthWall built the foundation, but Ukon represents the future,’ says Ukon CEO Cole Knuth.

Cyber Insurance vendor ukon launched its cyber insurance marketplace to put MSPs “at the center of the cyber insurance conversation.”

“Our goal with Ukon is to flip the traditional insurance model,” Ukon CEO Cole Knuth told CRN. “MSPs, who have typically been on the sidelines of the process, are now in the driver’s seat leading risk conversations and guiding customers through a smarter, tech-driven insurance journey.”

As part of its rebrand from FifthWall Solutions to Ukon, the company is unveiling strategic integrations, a new carrier partnership and an exclusive early-access program called the Founders Club. The rebrand is more than cosmetic. It signals a shift in how cyber insurance will be distributed and evaluated, placing deeper emphasis on cybersecurity insights from MSPs and integrating real-time data directly into underwriting, according to the CEO.

“FifthWall built the foundation, but Ukon represents the future,” said Knuth (pictured above). “Cyber insurance has long been reactive with agents leading and MSPs following. Ukon changes that dynamic. This is about enabling MSPs to proactively assess risk and guide customers to coverage that matches their actual tech profile.”

Ukon’s new marketplace offers real-time quotes from more than 50 carriers, including flagship products from new partners like SeedPod. The platform also integrates with cybersecurity tools from infrastructure partners like CreditPulse and cyber warranty vendor Cork.

“Our integration with Cork, for example, gives us live insights into a customer’s security,” he said. “That means no more 20-page PDFs or blind underwriting. The data is clean, real-time and usable.”

The Founders Club, which was launched with the rebrand, is an exclusive five-week program for the first 500 MSPs who join the platform. Members will receive access to resources, early feature on the platform and direct feedback loops with Ukon’s cyber risk experts.

Pete Avery, VP of security and compliance at North Canton, Ohio-based Visual Edge IT is an early access partner to Ukon.

“Ukon is excellent at empowering partners to quantify risk and implement controls that reduce exposure and lower the cost of cyber liability insurance,” he told CRN in an email. “Together, those two things help MSPs capture revenue and enables them to better educate and protect customers.”

Knuth said the future of Ukon is clear: “it’s a modernized cyber insurance experience that finally bridges the gap between cybersecurity tools and policy underwriting.”

“We built Ukon to be the easy button for MSPs,” he said. “Now they can take their customers all the way from risk discovery to active coverage without being insurance experts. That’s the future of this industry.”
