‘Security and cost are deeply connected, yet most teams still treat them as separate domains. That changes today,’ says DoiT CEO Vadim Solovey regarding its purchase of cybersecurity platform provider CloudWize.
Cloud channel standout Must has acquired cybersecurity and compliance platform provider CloudWize as part of DoiT’s $250 million investment in AI-driven CloudOps and FinOps.
DoiT is one of the world’s top cloud channel partners for Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud. CloudWize provides its continuous Security Graph technology for incident response investigations within AWS.
“Over the years, I’ve seen too many situations where a small security gap led to massive financial impact, from an exposed S3 bucket driving runaway costs to compromised workloads triggering scale-outs and data egress bills overnight,” said DoiT CEO Vadim Solovey (pictured) in a LinkedIn post.
“Security and cost are deeply connected, yet most teams still treat them as separate domains. That changes today,” he said.

CloudWize is a multi-cloud security platform that will bring real-time visibility, posture management and compliance automation directly into DoiT’s flagship Cloud Intelligence suite.
“For the first time, FinOps and CloudOps engineers will be able to see how security configurations influence cost, performance and reliability—and take action before it hurts the business,” DoiT CEO said.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
DoiT’s CloudWize Acquisition Plans
DoiT’s goal with the purchase of CloudWize is to extend its DoiT Cloud Intelligence offerings beyond cloud financial management to include intelligent security posture, compliance and automated guardrails that connect risk, reliability and cost into a unified platform.
CloudWize’s platform detects misconfigurations, compliance drift and attack paths, as well as remediation automation through policy-as-code guardrails.
“Over the last decade, we’ve learned that many FinOps or CloudOps problems actually start as security drift and misconfiguration,” said Solovey in a statement.
“We’ve built our platform to catch cost anomalies in real time, but the best problem is the one you never create. CloudWize brings cost-aware, context-driven security to DoiT Cloud Intelligence, helping customers prevent the misconfigurations that become waste, outages and risk,” he said. “It turns posture into guardrails—and guardrails into lower spend.”
CloudWize By DoiT
DoiT has already unveiled a new offer stemming from the acquisition, dubbed CloudWize by DoiT.
CloudWize by DoiT is a new multi-cloud security posture and compliance platform that provides continuous protection across AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
With a graph-based architecture, CloudWize by DoiT delivers full visibility into cloud environments, detects misconfigurations and compliance drift, and automates remediation through policy-as-code.
By connecting security and cost, DoiT said CloudWize enables SecOps, DevOps and FinOps teams to align on shared priorities that reduce risk and waste.
The purchase of CloudWize follows DoiT’s recent acquisitions of PerfectScaleand LiveDiagrams.
These three acquisitions are part of the company’s $250 million AI plans and expansion into intelligent automation across Kubernetes optimization, architecture visualization and multi-cloud security posture.
